On December 7th, 2023, we held the second joint meeting of our Innosuisse-funded project Ecosystem Based Steering of Global Production Networks.
In September, we went to Austria to the company FACC, and could get an insight into the impressive aircraft parts production. The day was dedicated to the topic of corporate organizational structures for the management of the global production network.
Next year, we are organizing the 5th Global Production Expert Forum together with the Werkzeugmaschinenlabor WZL from Aachen and the wbk Institut für Produktionstechnik at KIT in Karlsruhe
Students pursuing the Master in Business Innovation at the University of St. Gallen (MBI-HSG) had the chance to present their solutions for real-world business innovation challenges. In 6 weeks, 29 student groups worked in parallel on 13 challenges from Bosch, Siemens, Swisscom, Feldschlösschen Getränke AG, WWF, Vircom, Deutsche Telekom, KSB Company, Netstal, Helvetia Insurance Group, PostFinance. The output (a working paper, a presentation, and a video clip) was presented and discussed with executives from these companies.
