Agility and Adaptability in Global Production Networks

Successful in Uncertain Times through Adaptable Global Production Networks

This project is an industry-wide benchmarking study titled "Succeeding in Uncertain Times through Adaptable Global Production Networks". Led by Prof. Dr. T. Friedli and Prof. Dr.-Ing. G. Schuh among others, the project is currently in the acquisition stage and aiming to commence in January 2025.

The objective of the project is to identify and study companies that have successfully implemented agile methods within their global production networks. The benchmarking process will include extensive screening of companies, site visits, and a comprehensive roundup of conclusions for replication and adaptation.

Consortium partners are invited to actively participate in shaping the project's focus points. They will have the opportunity to yield benefits in various sectors, including learning from site visits to successful companies, net-working opportunities with industry experts, and drawing insights from individual adaptation and analysis workshops.

The project is currently seeking industry partners and holds significant potential for enterprises looking to enhance and adapt their production networks. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with successful practices and emerging trends in the industry, playing an instrumental role in transforming production strategy.
