The Production Systems Platform (PSP) brings together globally operating manufacturing companies from different industrial sectors to shape the future of Production Systems. Within the PSP, the participating companies engage in four one-day meetings to discuss this topic. In a joint kick-off session, the focus for the annual cycle of the platform is set by the participants. The remainder of the platform is focused on three different dimensions of Production Systems. The second meeting evolves around the Content of Production Systems, meaning the tools and principles anchored in the improvement program. The third meeting addresses the Process dimension of these systems, hence their roll-out within the companies’ network of production sites. Finally, the fourth meeting focuses on the Structure dimension, and therefore the organizational infrastructure supporting the Production System. Ultimately, selected results generated within the platform are published in the annual St.Gallen Production Systems Platform White Paper.
How are Production Systems aligned with other coporate initiatives? How are they rolled-out in company-wide networks? And how are Production System teams organized globally and locally?
Find your answers to these questions in the 2023 volume of the St.Gallen Production Systems Platform White Paper.
