Research Projects

As a scientific institute, research projects are one of our core competences. In such funded projects, we seek answers to the most important questions that manufacturing companies currently are confronted with. For example, in the Innosuisse flagship project ‘Towards a NetZero Plastics Industry’, we are investigating disruptive solutions to enable the decarbonisation of the plastics industry. Another core research focus of our group is the interplay of digitalisation, new technologies, and service business models, which is strongly influenced by Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). In this context, we are collaborating with 6 industry and 2 research partners in a new Innosuisse Project to bridge the gap ‘From Human Expertise to Autonomous Maintenance Services’.

Timeline: approx. 12-24 months
Consortium: multiple implementation and research partner
