On October 23 and 24 we held the annual Production Management Conference at the Hotel Einstein Congress in St. Gallen. This year's conference focussed on the question of how industrial companies can use existing production sites in high-wage countries as a long-term strategic advantage despite cost pressure. In addition to process excellence and novel management approaches, we would also like to highlight the potential of smart, digitized processes and products. "Sustaining and Restoring our Competitive Edge" therefore was the motto of this year's conference. We enjoyed great presentations and discussion from and with our guests.
