Successfully and on time, we complete our 18-month Innosuisse Project Ecosystem-Based Steering of Global Production Networks.
During our project, we developed a risk management solution for global production networks including a software tool, the so called Manufacturing Network Cockpit. The tool, developed in collaboration with IT-Logix on the technical side and Endress+Hauser, Weidmann, and Phoenix Contact on the industrial side, helps companies to assess the risks of production sites and simulate scenarios. The dashboard visualizes geopolitical and socio-economic risks, enabling monitoring and planning of strategic decisions to ensure supply chain continuity. Companies receive data-based insights to improve location planning and risk assessment.
An Innosuisse project promotes collaboration between research and industry to develop innovative products or services. Research partners (e.g. universities) undertake the scientific research, while the industry partner contributes its resources and market expertise. The commercialization partner is responsible for marketing and implementing the innovation.
