Last week, together with wbk Institute of Production Science Karlsruhe, we launched this year's Global Production Academy (GPA) at Sick Sensor Intelligence in Reute near Freiburg - now in its third year. The day was dedicated to the topic of complexity management. The cross-industry consortium came to the conclusion that complexity management means more than just reducing SKUs, especially in times of exponentially increasing complexity of product programs, data and global networks.

 

We would like to thank Sick once again for the great insights and are already looking forward to our next site visit to Hübner in the summer.
