Kickoff Consortium Benchmarking Adaptable Production Networks

On November 4, the kickoff event for our consortium benchmarking 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗹𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 took place. Together with a strong consortium consisting of Schmitz Cargobull AG, Siemens Healthineers, BSH Hausgeräte AG, Endress+Hauser Group, and ENGEL, as well as the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University, we have officially launched the project. 

The focus is on how manufacturing companies can increase the adaptability of their global production networks in the face of mounting global turbulence, as evidenced by export restrictions, tariffs, and supply chain disruptions. 

During the kick-off meeting, the questionnaire was finalised and will now form the basis of the study and the identification of successful industry practices.

Why participate?
Companies that complete the questionnaire will have the opportunity to be recognised as a 'Successful Practice' company. This will give them the chance to: 

• participate in all company visits. 
• gain exclusive insights into real-life successful practices.
• gain direct insight into the study results during the final conference. 

All participants in the questionnaire will receive an individual evaluation and classification as part of the study.
