A Business Intelligence (BI) Approach to Operational Excellence (OPEX)
On June 06/07 we presented to ISPE and FDA in Washington, D.C. the potential of a BI approach to OPEX
In collaboration with HarborView we attempted to debunk the myths preventing a widespread adoption of a BI approach in Pharma. Perceived barriers include lack of master data in complex supply chains, complex data or cost and capability of BI tools. Based on our St.Gallen OPEX Database and a PowerBI prototype, which we developed together with Harborview, we demonstrated that a BI approach to complex data is possible already today and with freely available BI tools.
